The deadline has now passed and it will soon become a hot topic come September 10th as that is when the calls are going out.
Thoughts on the competition?
Personally I thought the categories were really good this year. There was a wide scope of topics once I had a good think about it and hallelujah for a functional OTP!
I am looking forward to seeing what people have created for the competition because it always seems to bring out the best in people's scrapping.

Could not care less, none of the masters over the last two years have a style that I can relate to and personally I have never been interested in entering the masters so its kind of a no big deal for me, good luck to the ladies who have entered though
ReplyDeleteFor the first time, this year, a couple of the masters suit my style. But I can't think of any who do that style and are likely to enter the mastes this year. Good luck to all!

ReplyDeleteSo is there any opinion on the second issue of Australian Scrapbook Ideas? I bought it cos it looked better than the first one although I still think some of the work is very ordinary. Photography seemed better this issue.

Is it just me or do you have to pay for the privillage of being on the site now? I know that it is a business but it used to be free, I was kinda peeved by this, I want to have access to a non biased look at the top rating sites not those who are willing to pay the $10 fee.
Yeah, I'm with you 4.07am. The business has changed hands at least once. It used to be a nice place to visit and a easy going forum. The forum is dead and I don't think it is a useful resource any more.

ReplyDeleteI don't think the DT is anything to brag about. Nikki is very good. Tanya's layouts are lacking the wow factor. Kathie is ok. Nicole looks like she uses the same sketch for every layout. Christine is boring. JMO.

ReplyDeleteWhether you like the DT or not, I think this should be a good challenge site. Not associated at all LOL. I really want to start using more photos on my layouts so it will be a bit of a push to do this more.
ReplyDeleteI'm the OP of the Get Picky comment, and I can assure you I'm no DT member of anywhere :-) Did it once and never want to do it again! However, the multi photo challenges sound good, and since I predominantly do double LOs, this should be really helpful.
